RCD’s Windshield tag is Thermal Transfer Printable and can accomplish up to 20 feet of read distance depending on the location of the tag. It is optimized for placement on the inside of the windshield either behind the rearview mirror, or at the bottom on the driver’s side. It is designed with a very small footprint to minimize visual impairment. RCD’s award-winning windshield tag is designed for customers who want to take advantage of a passive UHF windshield-mounted RFID tag and implement it in a vehicle access-controlled installation.
